If you are a Boise State employee who may need to see reporting information as part of your job responsibilities, please follow the Account Request process.
Click on Login to myInsights on the menu at left. You will use your Boise State credentials to access all reports. If prompted for User Name and password enter your Boise State user name, e.g., bettybronco. The password is the one you use to login each day to your computer.
Permissions are granted at the library level. It’s possible the report is in a different library. Please submit a Help Desk request.
Note: The Main Student Data and Course Reports library also contains folders titled Financial Aid, Student Financials, and Student Records. Check to see if you are looking in the actual Financial Aid, Student Financials, and Students Records libraries for a report and not seeing it. Also check the appropriate folder within the Main Student Data and Course Reports library to look for the report.
If you find that a report is not working as expected, or “it’s broken”, you should submit a Business Intelligence Incident Request ticket through support.boisestate.edu.
To access reports from off campus, use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) connection. Contact the Help Desk to request this access, or for instructions, at (208)426-4357 or visit the self service link on the OIT Help Desk website.
If you do not find the report there, try logging into Pyramid Analytics to see if a report is located there. You can also email BIRS@boisestate.edu to see if there is a report that meets your needs.
If a report does not exist that contains the data you need, please submit a Project Request and select BIRS Report/Data Warehouse Request.
