How to Save Reports

Is there a particular report you run all the time, or maybe just once a year and you wish you could just save that report to your “Personal Content” folder? Well, you can and here’s how to save reports in Pyramid Analytics.

Open the report you want to save and click the “File” tab on the ribbon.

On the left navigation, click the “Save As” button.

You’ll see that the default domain to save your report to is the “Personal Content” folder.

You can also create folders within the “Personal Content” folder by clicking the “Create Folder” button at the top of the pop-up window.

You’ll notice that you’re being prompted to enter a book name as the filename. In this version of Pyramid, when we save a report, we’re actually saving the entire book that report is part of.

Enter a name for the book.

The “Description” field allows you to add notes about what you use this report for.

Next, click “Save Book.”

You’ll notice that you are now in the newly-saved book with the title displayed in brackets at the top of the screen.

At this point, you can delete reports and folders from this book that you do not need by selecting these, right-clicking and selecting “Delete” from the context menu.

Now you have the report saved to your “Personal Content” folder and can access it anytime you need to.
